Andy began working in tax for a Top 10 firm in 1989 where, for a three-year period he worked in Hong Kong, remaining with the firm until 2006.
After leaving this practice, he worked at a niche tax practice offering bespoke planning alongside and followed this by setting up his own consultancy business which he operated successfully until joining Ascendis.
His time in practice has helped him to develop a deeper understanding of each client’s needs. Most of his experience is with owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurs dealing with a wide range of taxes including Income Tax, Corporation Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and Stamp Duty Land Tax.
There is a very collegiate atmosphere in the firm.
There is a real passion for learning about and understanding the clients and that can only help in providing them with the best advice.
At the moment it is probably Billions (though my wife would say any football that was on).
