Staff and Directors at Wilmslow-based accountancy firm, Ascendis, are celebrating after one of their leading experts has been named as one of the top 35 accountants under the age of 35.
Forward-thinking crypto specialist, Lorenzo Coletta, has been ranked in the 35 under 35 list put together by Accountancy Age – placing him alongside some of the best up-and-coming professionals in the UK.
The judges that put together this year’s list were impressed with how Lorenzo was leading on the development of several innovative services within the fast-growing Northwest firm, including its unique cryptoasset offering.
In a relatively short period, he has worked incredibly hard to grow this new specialism, which recently resulted in the sale of leading NFT platform, KnownOrigin, to eBay in a multi-million-pound deal.
Lorenzo has also helped to foster a better culture within the firm and has implemented new systems that enable the practice to be more efficient, with a vision to make Ascendis the ‘go-to’ firm for technology start-ups and crypto accounting in the region.
Speaking about his inclusion in the prestigious list, Lorenzo said: “It is a real honour to make the latest Accountancy Age 35 under 35 list and great recognition for our practice as a whole.
